I’m originally from Brisbane and had a nearly paid-off property I bought at 23. The market was booming. So I said to my husband Brendo:“If we sell Brisbane, we can buy North Beach.”

Our yard was a dump...
Dirt. Weeds. Dead lawn. Even our dog Rich, wouldn’t lie on it.
Brendo had always wanted a sauna, just for personal use. We planned to pop one in the storeroom, but things shifted fast.
